La Crucecita
La Crucecita in the deep south of Mexico is a wonderful place to holiday–if you’re in the pool. It isn’t quite as good if you’re staring at a computer screen for most of the day. Okay, I know. Any of you in the Canadian north this winter will have no sympathy. Here, the temperature hangs on the high side of ninety degrees and seems to bump up a couple more degrees every day. But it’s been a good month, and I have hammered out the complete first draft of the second novel in the Winds of Passionseries. During a visit to the family ranch in northern Sonora, a tragic kidnapping forces Dina (pronounced Deena) to put her barrel racing career on hold. Why after all these years would the Juarez Cartel bother anyone at the ranch? The answer lies with her oldest friend, and is more sinister than any of them could have imagined.
The BIG NEWS of course is that the second book in the Border Series, “The Death Dealers” hit the Kindle, iPad and Nook shelves. For those of you in Canada with a Kobo, the publisher says he will have that platform up and running by the middle of next week. We’ll keep our fingers crossed.
A big thank you to those who have already enjoyed “Blackwater Crossing”.
